enough that they won’t even need splitting to be firewood.

This is a beautiful place.  We are looking for someone who will love and care for the land.

Several homes on Byrd Farm, including our,   have ViaSat internet so you can do more than just love the land.  A neighbor just installed StarLink, don’t know yet how that’s working.

FRANKLIN, NC

Franklin has 2 micro breweries, a small club scene, golf course, 1500 seat performing arts theater, grocery, Walmart, restaurants, live music and jam sessions, famous hiking on the Appalachian and Bartram trails, better hiking to waterfalls, multiple farmers’ markets, gem mining - Franklin is the Ruby City and for NYE there is a Ruby Drop like in Times Square  but smaller, fitness center and gyms, indoor and outdoor pools, library, community college here and University in the next county, the only strictly agricultural County Fair in NC and wonderful support from County Extension agents, Pumpkin Fest - a big deal tourist draw in October.  Low taxes, low traffic.
